BIG IDEA DESIGN Titanium Pocket Bit - Everyday Carry Screwdriver Bit (Hex)

Availability set by the retailer

The BIG IDEA DESIGN Titanium Pocket Bit is a patented, key-sized everyday carry (EDC) screwdriver bit that lives on your keychain so a driver is always within reach. Strategically designed to be the same width as a standard US door key, it won't poke you in the leg while still delivering real torque and grip for adjusting loose screws without hunting down a full-sized screwdriver. The Hex body version features a 6.3mm (1/4-inch) hex center shank that works with standard 1/4-inch hex openings, plus a #2 Phillips head (the most common size) and a 6mm flat head. Great for common screw heads, tripod mounts, door hinges, opening packages and boxes, mini prying, and even opening bottle caps (twist and pry). Built from heat-treated Grade 5 Titanium Alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) for the pocket bit and commercially pure Grade 2 Titanium for the key ring, it is TSA compliant and weighs only about 1/4 the weight of a standard house key (0.148 oz / 4.2 grams with key ring), so you don't notice it's there until you need it. Brand: BIG IDEA DESIGN; Material: Grade 5 Titanium Alloy (bit) and Grade 2 Titanium (key ring); Item Length: 0.75 inches; Number of Pieces: 1; Drive System: Phillips; Bit Shank Style: Hex. Ideal for everyday carry, light maintenance, quick repairs, and home DIY tasks.

Choosing Drivers & Sets

Screwdriver or bit driver — which should I buy?

A dedicated screwdriver with a fixed tip gives better feel and torque control for one fastener type. A bit driver or set covers many recess types in one handle and is more versatile for mixed work. For repetitive driving, a ratcheting driver reduces hand fatigue.
